their desire to become Philippine citizen:

WHEREAS, these missionaries have mingled socially with the
Filipino people, embraced their customs, traditions and ideals, and
learned to speak one of the Philippine dialects; and,
WHEREAS, by virtue of their long and invaluable service to
the Filipino people, these missionaries have proven themselves worthy of
all the rights, privileges and prerogatives of citizens of this
country;
WHEREAS, their superiors strongly recommend the grant of
citizenship to them and the proper officials of the Philippine
Government have recommended such grant of citizenship to them:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the
Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution,
do hereby grant Philippine Citizenship to:
