AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED ELEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE PHILIPPINE TOBACCO ADMINISTRATION, DEFINING ITS OBJECTIVES, POWERS AND FUNCTIONS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred thirty-five, as amended by Republic Act Numbered Twenty-two hundred thirty-three, is hereby further amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. Name and domicile.— There is hereby created the "Philippine Tobacco Administration," called for short the PTA, which shall be organized within sixty days after the approval of this Act. It shall have its main office in the City of Manila or Quezon City, and such branches and agencies within and outside of the Philippines as may be necessary for the proper conduct of its business. The PTA shall be under the supervision of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
