AN ACT TO EXTEND THE EFFECTIVITY OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED ONE THOUSAND EIGHTY-TWO, ENTITLED "AN ACT STRENGTHENING HEALTH AND DENTAL SERVICES IN THE RURAL AREAS, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR," AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-ONE.

Section 1

SECTION 1. In order to complete the creation of additional rural health units and dental units envisioned in Republic Act Numbered One thousand eighty-two, as amended by Republic Act Numbered One thousand eight hundred ninety-one, there is hereby appropriated the amount of one million six hundred thousand pesos, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the fiscal year beginning July first, nineteen hundred sixty-four, and providing a similar amount thereafter, in addition to the total appropriation of the preceding year, for a period of five years ending June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-nine. After the completion of the five-year program envisioned in this Act, the total amount authorized for appropriation herein shall be integrated in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
