AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BANSALAN, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, TO BE KNOWN AS SOUTHERN DAVAO EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There shall be established under the supervision of the Department of Health an emergency hospital in the Municipality of Bansalan, Province of Davao, to be known as Southern Davao Emergency Hospital, at a site to be determined by the Secretary of Health.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-five, including the purchase of a site and hospital equipment. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act, in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act Numbered One thousand nine hundred thirty-nine.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
