AN ACT CONVERTING NUEVA VIZCAYA HIGH SCHOOL INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE NAMED NUEVA VIZCAYA GENERAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Nueva Vizcaya High School is hereby converted into a national high school, to be named Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School. A comprehensive curriculum which includes both academic and vocational courses shall be offered. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize the said school accordingly.

Upon organization of Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School, the assets, liabilities, personnel, equipment and records of Nueva Vizcaya High School shall be transferred to Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the said school for fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine. Thereafter, the necessary sums for the operation and maintenance of the said school shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
