AN ACT CONVERTING THE GOA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GOA, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS GOA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Goa High School in the Municipality of Goa, Province of Camarines Sur, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Goa National High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) is hereby directed to implement the provisions of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on December 8, 1998 and June 5, 2000, respectively.
