§ 157 — Protection of bona fide purchasers, Authority and Registrar

157.—(1) Despite anything in this Act, no purchaser who has become a proprietor may be subject to action for the recovery of land or of money on the plea that the purchaser’s vendor, or any predecessor in title, may have acted in bad faith.[8/2014]

(2) Neither the Authority, the Registrar nor any person acting under the Authority’s or the Registrar’s authority shall be personally liable in respect of any action, suit or proceeding in respect of any act or matter in good faith done or omitted to be done in the administration of this Act.
