s 23L Unlawful use of certificate of medical need
23L.—(1) A person commits an offence if the person —(a) has in the person’s possession, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, an article so resembling a certificate of medical need as to be calculated to deceive; (b) alters a certificate of medical need in a way that is calculated to deceive; (c) dishonestly alters or uses a certificate of medical need; or (d) dishonestly lends, or allows another person to use, a certificate of medical need. (2) A person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1) shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.[Act 5 of 2026 wef 27/02/2026]
