The National Savings Bank (Amendment) Regulations 1981

Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the National Savings Bank (Amendment) Regulations 1981, and shall come into operation on 1st May 1981.

Section 2

The National Savings Bank Regulations 1972 shall be amended as follows:—

(a) in Regulation 33(1)—

(i) by inserting before the words “nominate any person” the words “before 1st May 1981” ;

(ii) by inserting at the end of the paragraph the following sentence—

A nomination made after 30th April 1981 shall be of no effect.

(b) in Regulation 35(1)(e), by inserting after the words “duly made in accordance with these Regulations” the words “before 1st May 1981” .
