Section 1Citation, commencement and extent
(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Assistance (Sums for Personal Requirements) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 10th April 2000.
(2) These Regulations extend to England only .

Section 2Sum needed for personal requirements
The sum which under section 22(4) of the National Assistance Act 1948 a local authority shall assume that a person will need for his personal requirements shall be £15.45 per week.
Section 3Revocation
The National Assistance (Sums for Personal Requirements) Regulations 1999 , in so far as they extend to England, are hereby revoked.
