Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (Disciplinary Powers) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st February 2001.

(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990.

Section 2 Date for transfer of jurisdiction under the Act

The date specified for the purpose of paragraph 15(2) of Schedule 19 to the Act shall be 1st February 2001.

Section 3 Transitional provision

The Council for Licensed Conveyancers shall have the power to decide any case being considered under any of the provisions set out in paragraph 15(2)(a) or (b) of Schedule 19 to the Act immediately before 1st February 2001.
