Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation
This Order may be cited as the Post Office Company (Nomination and Appointed Day) Order 2001 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2Citation, commencement and interpretation
In this Order—
“ the Act ” means the Postal Services Act 2000.
Section 3Nomination of the Post Office company
The company nominated for the purposes of section 62 of the Act is Consignia plc (registered number 4074919).
Section 4The day appointed
The day appointed for the purposes of section 62 of the Act is 26th March 2001.
