Section 1Citation and Interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Education Act 2002 (Commencement No. 1) (Amendment) Order 2002.
(2) In this Order—
“the 2002 Act ” means the Education Act 2002;
“the Commencement No. 1 Order ” means the Education Act 2002 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2002 .

Section 2Amendment of Commencement No. 1 Order

The commencement of section 29 of the 2002 Act effected by article 4 of the Commencement No. 1 Order is hereby revoked.

Section 3Amendment of Commencement No. 1 Order

Section 27 of the 2002 Act shall come into force except in relation to Wales on 2nd September 2002.

Section 4Amendment of Commencement No. 1 Order

Accordingly article 4 of the Commencement No. 1 Order shall be amended by substituting “27 and 28” for “28 and 29”.
