Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Contracting Out (Functions in relation to Apsley House) Order 2002 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2Contracting out of functions

The functions now vested in the Secretary of State under sections 2, 5(1) and 5(3) of the Wellington Museum Act 1947 may be exercised by, or by employees of, such person (if any) as may be authorised in that behalf by the Secretary of State.
