Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicles (Plating and Testing) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.

Section 2 Preliminary

The Goods Vehicles (Plating and Testing) Regulations 1988 shall be further amended as follows.

Section 3 Amendments relating to fees

(1) In regulation 12, in paragraph (3), for the Table there shall be substituted the following Table—

(2) In the regulations specified in column (1) of the following Table for the amounts specified in column (2) there shall be substituted the amounts specified in column (3).

Section 4 Fees for re-tests

In regulation 16(6)(c)(i), “8,” shall be deleted.

Section 5 Amendment to Schedule 2 (classes of vehicle to which the Regulations do not apply)

In paragraph 25 of Schedule 2, the following words shall be inserted after the words “Motor vehicles”—

in respect of which a test certificate issued in accordance with Article 34 of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 is in force or which are
