Section 1

This Order may be cited as the General Optical Council (Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules) Order of Council 2002.

Section 2

The General Optical Council (Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules) Order of Council 2001 is hereby revoked with effect from 1st April 2002.

Section 1

These rules may be cited as the Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules 2002.

Section 2

In the Registration and Enrolment Rules 1976 (which in their original form are scheduled to the General Optical Council (Registration and Enrolment Rules) Order of Council 1977 ) the Appendix shall be amended by replacing the figures £90, £53 and £33, on each occasion where they appear, by the figures £105, £62 and £39 respectively.

Section 3

The Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules 2001 (which will be spent on the coming into force of these rules) are hereby revoked.

Section 4

These rules shall come into force on 1st April 2002 and shall apply to applications for registration, enrolment, retention, restoration or transfer to take effect on or after 1st April 2002, whether made before, on or after that date.
