Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Bathing Water (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2016 and come into force on 20th June 2016.

Section 2 Amendment to the Bathing Water Regulations 2013

In Part 1 of Schedule 2 (surface waters in England) to the Bathing Water Regulations 2013 —

(a) for “Burnham Jetty”, substitute “Burnham Jetty North”;

(b) for “Hastings”, substitute “Hastings Pelham Beach”;

(c) for “Mounts Bay Heliport”, substitute “Mounts Bay Long Rock”;

(d) in the appropriate places, insert—

(i) “West Runton”;

(ii) “Windermere, Rayrigg Meadow”;

(e) omit the following—

(i) “Lyme Regis Church Cliff Beach”;

(ii) “Newhaven”;

(iii) “Rock”;

(iv) “Staithes”.
