Section 1 Citation and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health and Social Care (Safety and Quality) Act 2015 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2016.

(2) In these Regulations, “ the Act ” means the Health and Social Care (Safety and Quality) Act 2015.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 26th September 2016

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 26th September 2016—

(a) section 5 (objectives in relation to the regulation of health and social care professions);

(b) the Schedule (objectives of regulators of health and social care professions).
