Section 1 Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 (Commencement No. 7 and Transitional Provision) Order 2018.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015.

Section 2 Commencement of section 6 of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015

Section 66 of the Act (appeals from the Special Immigration Appeals Commission to the Supreme Court) comes into force on the twenty-first day after the day on which this Order is made.

Section 3 Transitional provision

The amendments made by section 66 of the Act do not apply in relation to a final determination of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission made before the twenty-first day after the day on which this Order is made.
