Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2020.

(2) The Regulations come into force on 25th July 2020.

Section 2 Amendment of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (England) Regulations 2020.

(1) The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (England) Regulations 2020 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 1(5), in the definition of “childcare”, omit the words from “and “early years childcare”” to the end of the definition.

(3) In regulation 4—

(a) in paragraph (2)—

(i) in sub-paragraph (b), omit the words from “indoor fitness studios” to “other”;

(ii) omit sub-paragraph (c);

(b) omit paragraph (3).

(4) In regulation 5(6)(b), for “Smoke-Free” substitute “Smoke-free”.

(5) In regulation 6(12)(d)(iii), for “Safeguarding of Vulnerable Groups” substitute “Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups”.

(6) In regulation 9(1)(a), at the end, insert “and”.

(7) In Schedule 2, omit paragraphs 12, 14 and 15.
