Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) (Relevant International Agreements) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 and come into force immediately before IP completion day.

Section 2 Interpretation

For the purpose of the specification mentioned in section 112(1A)(b) of the Energy Act 2013, these Regulations are to be treated as regulations under section 112(1B) of that Act.

Section 3 Amendments to the Nuclear Safeguards (Fissionable Material and Relevant International Agreements) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

(1) The Nuclear Safeguards (Fissionable Material and Relevant International Agreements) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 3—

(a) in paragraph (e) at the end omit “and”;

(b) after paragraph (f) insert—

(g) the EU withdrawal agreement;

(c) at the end for “(f)” substitute “(g)”.
