Section 1 Citation, commencement, extent and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel and Operator Liability) (England) (Amendment) (No. 10) Regulations 2021.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 8th September 2021.

(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, and apply in relation to England only.

Section 2 Amendments to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel and Operator Liability) (England) Regulations 2021

(1) Paragraph 44 of Schedule 4 to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel and Operator Liability) (England) Regulations 2021 is amended as follows.

(2) In sub-paragraph (4)—

(a) in paragraphs (a)(iii), (b)(iii) and (c)(iii)—

(i) for “or international elite sportspersons” substitute “, international elite sportspersons or other participants”;

(ii) after “involved in the specified competition” insert—

, or other individuals essential to the support of a sportsperson participating in that elite sports event

(b) in paragraphs (d)(iii) and (e)(iii)—

(i) for “or domestic elite sportspersons” substitute “, domestic elite sportspersons or other participants”;

(ii) after “involved in the specified competition” insert—

, or other individuals essential to the support of a sportsperson participating in the specified competition
