Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Health and Care Professions Council (Coronavirus) (Amendment) (No. 2) Rules Order of Council 2021 and comes into force immediately before 4th March 2021.

Section 2 Privy Council approval

Their Lordships, having taken the Rules as set out in the Schedule to this Order into consideration, are pleased to, and do, approve them.

These Rules may be cited as the Health and Care Professions Council (Coronavirus) (Amendment) (No. 2) Rules 2021 and come into force immediately before 4th March 2021.

Section 2 Amendments to the Health and Care Professions Council (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Rules 2021

After each of the following rules 2(3), 3(3), 4(3) and 5(3) of the Health and Care Professions Council (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Rules 2021 insert—

(3A) After rule 3 (Service of Documents), insert—

(3A) Any communications sent for the purposes of these Rules is to be treated as having been sent on the day the communication was posted or sent by electronic mail.
