Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Administrative Forfeiture Notices) (England and Wales and Northern Ireland) (Amendment) Regulations 2021.

(2) They come into force on 28th June 2021.

(3) They extend to England and Wales and Northern Ireland.

Section 2 Amendment of 2017 Regulations

(1) The Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Administrative Forfeiture Notices) (England and Wales and Northern Ireland) Regulations 2017 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 1(2) (extent)—

(a) in sub-paragraph (a) for “Part 1 extends” substitute “Parts 1 and 2 extend”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (b) for “Parts 2 and 3 extend” substitute “Part 3 extends”.

(3) In the heading of Part 2 for “Bank and Building Society” substitute “Certain”.
