The Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Maldon to Salcott) Order 2021

Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (Maldon to Salcott) Order 2021 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2 End of access preparation period

(1) In relation to land which is coastal margin as a result of the relevant approval, the day appointed as the day on which the access preparation period ends is 29 June 2021.

(2) In paragraph (1), “the relevant approval” means the approval by the Secretary of State under section 52(1) of the Act of the relevant report on 25 January 2018.

(3) In paragraph (2), “the relevant report” means the report entitled “Coastal Access Maldon to Salcott” submitted by Natural England to the Secretary of State under sections 51 and 55A of the Act on 30 March 2017 .

(4) In this article, “the Act” means the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 .
