Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Armed Forces (Tri-Service Serious Crime Unit) (Consequential Amendments) (No. 2) Regulations 2022.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 5th December 2022.

(3) The amendments made by these Regulations have the same extent as the provision being amended.

Section 2 Amendment of the Armed Forces (Part 5 of the Armed Forces Act 2006) Regulations 2009

(1) The Armed Forces (Part 5 of the Armed Forces Act 2006) Regulations 2009 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 8(1) (referral of case to Director of Service Prosecutions by service police: commanding officer documents and information), after “service police force”, in both places it appears, insert “or the tri-service serious crime unit ” .
