Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 14th July 2022.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Section 2 Amendment of the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014

In Schedule 2 to the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014 (capital to be disregarded), after paragraph 40 insert—

(41) Any payment made to the adult which would be disregarded under section 8 of the Social Security (Additional Payments) Act 2022 (payments to be disregarded for the purposes of tax and social security).
