Section 1Citation and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces Act 2006 (Continuation) Order 2023.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the British overseas territories (except Gibraltar).

Section 2Continuation of the Armed Forces Act 2006

The Armed Forces Act 2006 shall, instead of expiring at the end of 14th December 2023, expire at the end of 14th December 2024.
