Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (England) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2023 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2 Designation of school

(1) Menorah Primary School for Boys, Barnet, NW11 9SP, a voluntary aided school, is designated as a school having a religious character.

(2) The religious denomination in accordance with whose tenets religious education is, or may be, required to be provided in accordance with Schedule 19 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 , is Jewish.

Section 3 Amendment of the Designation of Schools having a Religious Character (England) Order 1999

Part 1 of the Schedule to the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (England) Order 1999 is amended. After the words “Menorah Primary School” insert “for Girls” .
