Section 1

This Instrument may be cited as the Lancashire County Council (A601(M) Partial Revocation) Scheme 2022 Confirmation Instrument 2023 and shall come into force on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 2

The Lancashire County Council (A601(M) Partial Revocation) Scheme 2022 (“ the Scheme ”) is confirmed with modifications.

Section 3

The Scheme as confirmed is set out in the Schedule to this Instrument (including the deposited plan) and copies of the Scheme are deposited at the offices of the Department for Transport, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA and at the offices of Lancashire County Council, Preston, PR1 8XJ.

Section 1 THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A601(M) PARTIAL REVOCATION) SCHEME 2022

The Council are authorised to revoke the special status road along the route described in the Schedule to this Scheme.

The centre line of the road route is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.

Section 3 THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A601(M) PARTIAL REVOCATION) SCHEME 2022

In this Scheme:-

“ the Council ” means the Lancashire County Council;

“ the deposited plan ” means the plan marked “The Lancashire County Council (A601(M) partial revocation) Scheme 2022” sealed with the Common Seal of the County Council and deposited at the offices of the County Council at County Hall, Preston, PR1 8XJ. A certified copy is also deposited at the offices of the Department for Transport.

“the route” is the route described in the Schedule to this Scheme.

Section 4 THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A601(M) PARTIAL REVOCATION) SCHEME 2022

This Scheme hereby revokes the Scheme specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Scheme to the extent specified in the second column of that Schedule.

This Scheme may be cited as the Lancashire County Council (A601(M) partial revocation) Scheme 2022.
