Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security Additional Payments (First Qualifying Day) Regulations 2023 and come into force on 17th April 2023.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Section 2Means-tested additional payments: the first qualifying day

25th February 2023 is the first qualifying day for the purpose of the means-tested additional payments under section 1 of the Social Security (Additional Payments) Act 2023.
