Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2023 and come into force on 24th April 2023.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Section 2 Amendment of the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014

In Schedule 2 to the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014 (capital to be disregarded), after paragraph 42 insert—

(43) Any payment made to the adult which would be disregarded under section 8 of the Social Security (Additional Payments) Act 2023 (payments to be disregarded for the purposes of tax and social security) .
