Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces (Civilians Subject to Service Discipline) (Amendment) Order 2024.

(2) This Order comes into force on 3rd June 2024.

(3) This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the British overseas territories (except Gibraltar).

Section 2Amendment of the Armed Forces (Civilians Subject to Service Discipline) Order 2009

The Armed Forces (Civilians Subject to Service Discipline) Order 2009 is amended as follows.

Section 3Amendment to Schedule 2 (other specified organisations)

In Schedule 2 —

(a) omit “Service Children’s Education”;

(b) omit “the Services Sound and Vision Corporation”;

(c) before “the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes” insert “BFBS” ;

(d) for “the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association-Forces Help” substitute “Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association” .

Section 4Amendment to Schedule 3 (designated areas)

In Schedule 3 —

(a) in paragraph 1, in the appropriate place insert—

(i) “Estonia”;

(ii) “the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal”;

(iii) “the Kingdom of Bahrain”.

(b) in paragraph 2, in the appropriate place insert—

(i) “Estonia”;

(ii) “the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal”;

(iii) “the Kingdom of Bahrain”.
