Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 and shall come into force on 13th October 2025.

Section 2 Amendments to the Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Charges) Regulations 2020

(1) Schedule 2 (Licence Charges and Payment Intervals) to the Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Charges) Regulations 2020 shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) to (4).

(2) Under the heading “ Spectrum Access ”, in relation to the licence class “Shared Access (Low Power)”, in paragraph (b) in Column 3 (Variable sums), before the words “2390-2400 MHz band” insert “2320-2340 MHz band or” .

(3) Under the heading “ Spectrum Access ”, in relation to the licence class “Shared Access (Medium Power)”—

(a) in Column 1 (Class of Licence), for the words “Shared Access (Medium Power)” substitute “Shared Access (Medium Power Rural Areas)” ; and

(b) in paragraph (b) in Column 3 (Variable sums), before the words “2390-2400 MHz band” insert “2320-2340 MHz band or” .

(4) Under the heading “Spectrum Access”, after the licence class “ Shared Access (Medium Power) ” (which is amended in paragraph (3)(b) to “Shared Access (Medium Power Rural Areas)”) and before the licence class “Spectrum Access Offshore Mobile”, insert the following entry—
