Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Oxford Street Development Corporation (Establishment) Order 2025.

(2) This Order comes into force on 1st January 2026.

(3) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Section 2 Mayoral development area

(1) The Mayoral development area is the area of land in Greater London shown bounded externally by the inside edge of the black line on the map.

(2) In paragraph (1), “ the map ” means the map marked “Map referred to in the Oxford Street Development Corporation (Establishment) Order 2025” of which prints signed by a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government have been deposited, and are available for inspection, at the offices of the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government and at the offices of the Greater London Authority.

Section 3 Establishment and naming of the Oxford Street Development Corporation

There is established a corporation for the Mayoral development area named the “Oxford Street Development Corporation”.
