Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Aviation Security (Amendment) Regulations 2025.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 23rd June 2025.

(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Section 2 Amendment of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998

(1) The Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 of 5 November 2015 laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the basic standards on aviation security is amended as follows.

(2) Omit Chapters 3 (aircraft security) and 7 (air carrier mail and air carrier materials).
