(1) This Order may be cited as the Access to the Countryside (Coastal Margin) (South Hayling to East Head) Order 2026 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
(2) In this Order—
“ the Act ” means the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 ;
“ the relevant approvals ” means the approval, by the Secretary of State under section 52(1) of the Act of the proposals contained in the—
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE1, South Hayling Beach to Langstone Bridge report on 16th July 2024;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE2, Langstone Bridge to Prinsted report on 16th July 2024;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE3, Prinsted to Bosham report on 16th July 2024;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE4, Bosham to West Itchenor report on 9th July 2020;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE5, West Itchenor to West Wittering Beach report on 16th July 2024.
“ the relevant reports ” means the reports submitted by Natural England to the Secretary of State under sections 51 and 55A of the Act on 3rd October 2019 entitled—
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE1, South Hayling Beach to Langstone Bridge;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE2, Langstone Bridge to Prinsted;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE3, Prinsted to Bosham;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE4, Bosham to West Itchenor;
England Coast Path South Hayling to East Head SHE5, West Itchenor to West Wittering Beach.
