Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as The National Health Service (Dental Charges) Amendment (Wales) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on the 1st April 2000.

(2) These Regulations shall apply to Wales only.

Section 2 Amendment of The National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 1989

In regulation 4 of The National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 1989 (calculation of charges), in paragraph (5), for “£348” in both places where it occurs there shall be substituted “£354”.

Section 3 Revocation

The National Health Service (Dental Charges) Amendment Regulations 1999 are hereby revoked.

Section 4 Transitional Provisions

Where, on or after 1st April 2000, appliances are supplied, or other general dental services are provided, in pursuance of a contract or arrangement for the provision of general dental services made before that date, regulation 4(5) of The National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 1989 shall have effect in respect of that supply or other provision as if these Regulations had not come into force.
