Section 1 Name, commencement and application

(1) The name of these Regulations is the Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2001 and they shall come into force on 1st August 2001.

(2) These Regulations apply to Wales only.

Section 2 Amendments

(1) The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) Regulations 1991 are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

(2) In Regulation 17, in paragraph (2), for “£30.39 ”substitute “£31.39”.

(3) In Regulation 18,

(a) in paragraph (1), for “£30.39” substitute “£31.39”;

(b) in paragraph (2),

(i) in sub-paragraph (a), for “£27.65” substitute “£28.81”; and

(ii) in sub-paragraphs (b) and (c), for “£55.31” substitute “£57.63”.

Section 3 Revocation

The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations (Wales) 2000 are revoked.
