Section 1 Name and commencement

These Regulations are called the School Governors' Annual Reports (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 31 May 2002.

Section 2 Amendment of Regulations

(1) The Schedule to the School Governors' Annual Reports (Wales) Regulations 2001 is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 6, insert after sub-paragraph (a) “and”, and omit sub-paragraph (c) and the “and” before it.

(3) For paragraph 8 substitute—

(8) The information relating to—

(a) pupils leaving the school, or employment or training taken up by pupils on leaving the school; and

(b) authorised and unauthorised absence of pupils,

which is required to be published in the school prospectus in accordance with regulations made under section 537(1) of the 1996 Act .
