Section 1 Citation , commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2003 and come into force on 31st July 2003.

(2) The Regulations apply to Wales.

Section 2 Amendment of regulation 4 of the Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) Regulations 1991

In regulation 4 of the Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) Regulations 1991 —

(a) for the words “served by a waste regulation authority” substitute “served by either a waste regulation authority or an authority which is a waste collection authority for the purposes of Part II of the 1990 Act”; and

(b) for the words “furnish the authority with a copy of it at the authority’s office” substitute “furnish that authority with a copy of it at that authority’s office”.
