Section 1 Name, application and commencement

(1) These Regulations are called the Financing of Maintained Schools (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 6th March 2003

(2) They apply only to Wales.

(3) The amendments made by these Regulations shall not apply in relation to the financing of maintained schools in any financial year beginning before 1st April 2003.

Section 2 Amendment of Regulations

(1) The Financing of Maintained Schools Regulations 1999 are amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 40A(1) of Schedule 2 , for “and 1st April 2002” substitute “, 1st April 2002 and 1st April 2003”.
