Section 1Citation, commencement and application
(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Assistance (Sums for Personal Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2003 and come into force on 7th April 2003.
(2) These Regulations apply to Wales only.

Section 2Sum needed for personal requirements
The sum which a local authority assumes a person to need for his or her personal requirements under section 22(4) of the National Assistance Act 1948 is £17.80 per week.
Section 3Revocation
The National Assistance (Sums for Personal Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2002 are hereby revoked.
