Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) These regulations may be cited as The National Assistance (Sums for Personal Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2004 and come into force on 12th April 2004.

(2) These Regulations apply to Wales only.

Section 2Sum needed for personal requirements

The sum which a local authority assumes a person to need for his personal requirements under section 22(4) of the National Assistance Act 1948 is £18.40 per week.

Section 3Revocation

The National Assistance (Sums for Personal Requirements)(Wales) Regulations 2003 are hereby revoked.
