The new footpath/cycleway which the National Assembly for Wales proposes to construct along the route described in the schedule to this Order is to become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

The London — Fishguard Trunk Road (A40) (Combined Footpath/Cycleway, Windyhall, Fishguard) Order 2005
The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
In this Order:—
(1) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;
(2)
(i) “the deposited plan” (“ y plan a adneuwyd ”) means the plan numbered HA10/2 NAFW 5 marked “The London — Fishguard Trunk Road (A40) (Combined Footpath/Cycleway, Windyhall, Fishguard) Order 2005”, signed on behalf of the Minister for Economic Development and Transport and deposited at the National Assembly for Wales Record Storage and Retrieval Unit ( RSRU ), Neptune Point, Ocean Way, Cardiff;
(ii) “the trunk road” (“ y gefnffordd ”) means the London — Fishguard Trunk Road (A40);
(iii) “the new trunk road”(“ y gefnffordd newydd ”) means the highway referred to in Article 1 of this Order.
This Order comes into force on 18 November 2005 and may be cited as the London — Fishguard Trunk Road (A40) (Combined Footpath/Cycleway, Windyhall, Fishguard) Order 2005.
