Section 1 Title, application and commencement

(1) The title of these Regulations is The Non-Domestic Rating (Demand Notices) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and they come into force on 2 February 2008.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.

Section 2 Amendments to the Non-Domestic Rating (Demand Notices) (Wales) Regulations 1993

(1) The Non-Domestic Rating (Demand Notices) (Wales) Regulations 1993 are amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 2, in the note headed “Unoccupied Property Rating”, for “50 per cent”, substitute “100 per cent”.

(3) In paragraph 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 2, in the note headed “Ardrethu Eiddo Di-ddeiliad”, for “50 y cant”, substitute “100 y cant”.

(4) Nothing in this regulation requires any matter to be included in any notice served in respect of any amount payable in respect of any day before 1 April 2008.
