Section 1 Title, commencement and application

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and they come into force on 21 June 2012.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.

Section 2 Amendments to the Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales Regulations 2012

(1) The Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales Regulations 2012 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 13(4) (appeal application), in the Welsh text—

(a) for sub-paragraph (c)(ii) substitute—

(ii) ysgol annibynnol, drwy gadarnhad ysgrifenedig bod y person sy'n gwneud yr apêl wedi hysbysu perchennog yr ysgol am fwriad y person i ofyn am enwi'r ysgol annibynnol yn y datganiad;

(b) after sub-paragraph (c)(ii) insert—

(iii) ysgol annibynnol, drwy gadarnhad ysgrifenedig gan berchennog yr ysgol bod lle ar gael yn yr ysgol i'r plentyn.
