Section 1 Title, commencement, application and interpretation

(1) The title of this Order is the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (Amendment of Schedule 6) Order 2016.

(2) This Order comes into force on 15 February 2016.

(3) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

(4) In this Order “the Measure” means the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.

Section 2 Amendment of Schedule 6

Schedule 6 (public bodies etc: standards) to the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 is amended in accordance with the Schedule.

In the Welsh text of paragraph 2 of Schedule 6 to the Measure omit the definition of “Ffocws ar Deithwyr” ( “Passenger Focus” ) and insert in the appropriate place “ystyr “Transport Focus ” yw’r Cyngor Teithwyr a sefydlwyd o dan Ddeddf Rheilffyrdd 2005;”.

Section 8

In the English text of paragraph 2 of Schedule 6 to the Measure omit the definition of “Passenger Focus” ( “Ffocws ar Deithwyr” ) and insert in the appropriate place ““Transport Focus” means the Passengers’ Council established under the Railways Act 2005;”.
