Section 1 Title, commencement and application

(1) The title of this Order is the Education Workforce Council (Accreditation of Initial Teacher Training) (Additional Functions) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2017.

(2) This Order comes into force on 1 November 2017.

(3) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

Section 2 Amendment

In article 3 of the Education Workforce Council (Accreditation of Initial Teacher Training) (Additional Functions) (Wales) Order 2017 , after paragraph (2) insert—

(3) In exercising the functions in paragraph (1) the Council is to have regard to any forecast of demand for newly qualified teachers that is notified to it in writing by the Welsh Ministers.
