Section 1 Title and commencement

(1) The title of this Order is the County Borough of Caerphilly (Electoral Arrangements) (Amendment) Order 2022.

(2) For any purpose set out in regulation 4(1) of the Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976 , this Order comes into force on the second day after the day on which it is made.

(3) For all other purposes, this Order comes into force on the ordinary day of election of councillors in 2022 .

Section 2 Amendment to the County Borough of Caerphilly (Electoral Arrangements) Order 2021

(1) The County Borough of Caerphilly (Electoral Arrangements) Order 2021 is amended as follows.

(2) In article 4(b) (the community of Rhymney: changes to community wards), for “Moriah” substitute “St David’s” .
